You will lead and inspire your team, foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the safety of your team during shifts and promote a culture of safety.</li>\n <li>Lead and direct the efforts of Production and Quality Assurance employees on your shift.</li>\n <li>Provide constructive feedback and recognition to team members, supporting their growth and development.</li>\n <li>Oversee raw materials, labeling, equipment setup, tools, production orders, warehouse availability, and labor readiness for current and upcoming production runs.</li>\n <li>Monitor and adhere to environmental monitoring and reporting procedures within designated response times.</li>\n <li>Manage and address issues related to the Facility Emergency Contingency Plan.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with your team and other departments to improve processes, enhance product quality, and reduce costs through innovation and data analysis.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot high-level issues with Key Operators, Maintenance personnel, or Management.</li>\n <li>Communicate daily with your team about safety, performance, corrective actions, and future plans using High Performance Team (HPT) boards and meetings.</li>\n <li>Review production schedules, assign tasks, and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations.</li>\n <li>Monitor equipment performance and coordinate with Maintenance for repairs or troubleshooting.</li>\n <li>Prepare and maintain accurate shift paperwork and records, ensuring seamless communication between shifts.</li>\n <li>Drive the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.</li>\n <li>Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.</li>\n <li>Instill an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education</strong>:  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology.</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of production experience in an industrial manufacturing facility.</li>\n <li>Minimum three (3) years of supervisory/leadership experience in a similar environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.</li>\n <li>Experience in production supervision, quality assurance, or a related field.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of safety protocols, production processes, and troubleshooting techniques.</li>\n <li>Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for scheduling, record-keeping, and reporting.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of production principles involved in project planning, resource allocation and leadership techniques.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of SAP preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of process improvement methodologies/practices.</li>\n <li>Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.</li>\n <li>Ability to adhere to all safety standards while remaining focused on quality and service.</li>\n <li>Computer skills in a MS Windows Environment; proficient in Word and Excel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>It is the policy of Knauf Insulation to provide equal employment opportunities to all qualified persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions), gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or any other protected characteristic prohibited by applicable law.</p>",
