Senior Quality Technician - Kiewit Power Constructors

Requisition ID:  180589 Job Level:  Senior Level Home District/Group:  Kiewit Power Constructors District Department:  Quality Market:  Power Employment Type:  Full Time Position Overview As a Senior Quality Technician, you will be responsible for the successful development and implementation of project quality plans and procedures. This role ensures compliance with documentation requirements by maintaining project-specific logs, reports, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle. You will develop, define, and analyze solutions to meet documentation and quality requirements while facilitating timely preparation of operational documents and final project turnover packages. District Overview Kiewit Power Constructors (KPC) provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing union craft force.  Kiewit Power Construction builds major EPC power plants and solar projects throughout North America. Location The position is based out of Plattsmouth, NE. Responsibilities Maintain project-specific logs and reports. Develop, define, and analyze solutions to documentation requirements. Plan, control, and direct the activities of assigned Document Coordinators. Facilitate project deliverables, documents for operation, and final project turnover acceptance. Work with the suppliers and Responsible Engineers to understand deliverables coming/past due. Train and supervise the work of less experienced Specialists and/or Coordinators. Qualifications Ability to use appropriate tools and methods to collect and analyze data to identify and resolve business and/or technical problems. Ability to review and understand construction plans and specs. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative. Demonstrated commitment to business ethics and integrity. Team player with the ability to lead others or work independently, as required, to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives. Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
