    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">The Role:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Our site in Prairie View Texas is seeking a <em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">over the road truck driver</span></em> to join our team. Can be living in any location that is commutable to our Prairie View site to pickup and load the truck or it is possible to park the truck at your home at the end of each week if you can provide a safe parking location. This role is Monday-Friday, with work hours as needed to complete the job per Federal driving regulations. May have to work some weekends. </span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">What you'll do:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Primarily responsible for providing customer delivery of chemicals and safely operating a diesel, multi-geared bobtail truck/pup and/or tractor- trailer combination vehicle over heavily congested city highways, rolling and mountainous terrain, rural and oil lease roads. Responsible for the preventative maintenance of any type of vehicle used to deliver chemicals to customers, plants and/or warehouse locations.</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Abides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates dedication to and support of EH&amp;S principles and values; champions safety as vital.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Performs other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally encouraged scope of this position.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Load trailers and schedule daily runs to meet customer delivery requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain truck and equipment in a safe and operable condition at all times by performing daily and periodic mechanical and safety inspections.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Responsible for accurate up-to-date delivery location maps and operates in accordance with DOT regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials in accordance with homeland security requirements and guidelines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain driver's hours of service and logbook reporting.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Maintain regular communication with the fleet office and supervisor in order to report field problems and/or safety hazards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Wear appropriate safety gear at all times during delivery operations.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Keeps current on safety techniques and take advantage of all opportunities to improve driving and safety skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Recognize and avoid safety hazards in the work environment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">DOT Compliant</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Tanker Endorsement – minimum 1 year</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Performs other duties as assigned.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">What We Seek:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">HS Diploma</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Must have a current Class a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), issued by the state in which the candidate resides with Tanker endorsement and Medical Card.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Three (3) years commercial driving experience, aligned with Federal Motor Carrier Safety</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Regulations and DOT regulations, in the past five years required.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Acceptable motor vehicle record for past 5 years</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Experience with the operation of forklifts, drum dollies, trailer hoists, chemical pumps, hoses, meters, printers and gauges preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Experience with handling products in various types of packages including bulk and drums preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Experience in customer relations preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Experience performing warehouse duties, which include preventative maintenance duties, inventory and ordering of chemicals, receiving incoming shipments, coordinating warehouse for safe and efficient chemical storage, operation of customized chemical manufacturing equipment and the upkeep of warehouse grounds preferred.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Awareness of chemical safety and the measures to take in the event of skin contact or spill preferred.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical -</span> Requires manual lifting of up to 50 lbs. capable of standing and kneeling for a duration of time.
