Digital Realty is currently looking for a Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team to work closely with our Corporate Services, Operations, and other groups to implement and maintain quality and customer focused solutions.&nbsp;</p><p>Based on the nature of our industry, our solutions utilize and rely on a wide variety of technologies. As such, we are looking for a highly adaptable and motivated person who can administer enterprise solutions as well as be flexible enough to participate in an on-call rotation. We need people who take pride in being a subject matter expert in their domain yet understand and explore the many other talents of IT; someone with expert knowledge of Cisco IOS and networking in general.</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><strong>What you’ll do&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Implementation of standardized network solutions</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Schedule and implement regular patches and upgrades per established process which includes working in coordination with operations, corporate services and information security teams</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Manage projects utilizing remote hands vendors and internal staff</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Assist/Contribute on internal Network Engineering team projects</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\"><span>Maintain and update detailed network documentation</span></p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Review tickets and provide technical support to customers and other teams</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Respond to alarms and take appropriate action to correct the problem or escalate based upon Operations Service Center policy</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Identifies opportunities for value-added process improvement</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Awareness of when to send customer communication based on impact to customer</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Identify patterns that could potentially lead to issues and escalate or resolve as needed</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Intermediate knowledge of Cisco products, their functionality, configuration and best practices</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Intermediate knowledge of DMVPN, STP, AAA, Access-Lists</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Working knowledge of Routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, static routing)</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows networking configuration and protocols</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Error investigation, Troubleshooting, and Root Cause Analysis</p></li><li><p style=\"line-height: normal; margin-bottom: 0in;\">Minimum two years’ experience as a network engineer responsible for a primarily Cisco based network</p></li></ul><p><strong>Preferred candidates would have the following:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><p style=\"line-height: normal;
