Our creative and talented team of over 2000 people across every corner of the world, help us remain the global leader in protective paints and coatings for both home and industry.</p><p>As our <strong>Filler Helper</strong> you are responsible &nbsp;for operating, setting up, changing over, assisting, or tending to machines in order to package paint in a safe, consistent, and efficient manner.</p><p>Here’s what you can expect every day:</p><ul><li>Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.</li><li>Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.</li><li>Tend to or operate machines that package product.</li><li>Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.</li><li>Regulate machine flow, speed, or temperature.</li><li>Stop or reset machines when malfunctions occur, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to a supervisor.</li><li>Secure finished packaged items by hand tying, sewing, gluing, stapling, or attaching fastener.</li><li>Stock and sort product for packaging or filling machine operation, and replenish packaging supplies, such as wrapping paper, plastic sheet, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, or labels.</li><li>Inspect and remove defective products and packaging material.</li><li>Clean and remove damaged or otherwise inferior materials to prepare raw products for processing.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Required Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED certificate</li><li>1 or more years experience of industry-related work preferred but not required</li><li>Ability to accurately read and enter computer data</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to consistently lift 30 pounds</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Aptos, Aptos_EmbeddedFont, Aptos_MSFontService, Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Shift: 6am-6:15pm; 2-2-3 shift rotation (continuous operations schedule)</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Aptos, Aptos_EmbeddedFont, Aptos_MSFontService, Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Shift premium: $1.25/hour</span></span></p><p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Aptos, Aptos_EmbeddedFont, Aptos_MSFontService, Calibri, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11pt;\"><strong>From big benefits to small, we take care of our associates!</strong>&nbsp; After 30 days of employment, you will be eligible for a benefits package that includes medical, dental, life, disability and business travel insurance, flexible spending accounts, EAP, stock purchases and vacation/sick days/parental leave.&nbsp;We also offer a 401(k) plan after three months of employment. Associates are vested in the RPM Pension plan after completing five years of service. Rust-Oleum offers (9.5) paid holidays and (2) floating holidays per year.
