Take the next step in your career and be part of a team that is dedicated to transforming lives and creating a path to lasting recovery.</em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>CLINICAL CARE:</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Consistently provide primarily independent therapy sessions for patients diagnosed with Substance Use Disorders.</li>\n   <li>Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments based on the needs of the clinic’s patient population and caseload, aligned with scientific best-practice guidelines.</li>\n   <li>Demonstrate competency for individual counseling, offering occasional individual counselor sessions as appropriate.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>PATIENT CARE COORDINATION</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Assist with treatment planning and reviewing progress towards treatment plan goals.</li>\n   <li>Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.</li>\n   <li>Carry and effectively manage a caseload of patients</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>DOCUMENTATION AND COMPLIANCE</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Timely and comprehensively document all necessary treatment data into the electronic patient health record.</li>\n   <li>Ensure adherence to all necessary regulatory and company compliance requirements.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>MEETING AND COLLABORATION</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Attends required meetings including but not limited to all on-site staff meetings, supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings. </li>\n   <li>Attend required meetings including individual and group supervision, multidisciplinary team meeting, and quarterly in-service. </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li><strong>TRAINING AND MENTORSHIP</strong>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Occasional training/onboarding support for new hire Counselor I.</li>\n   <li>Training, onboarding, and mentorship support for new hire counselors within the site or adjacent clinics.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>KNOWLEDGE SKILLS, AND ABILITIES</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Highly empathetic and compassionate to effectively support the recovery journey of BrightView’s patients.</li>\n <li>Competent at working with a diverse population of colleagues and patients.</li>\n <li>Natural problem solver, looks for solutions to best meet patient needs with a sense of urgency.</li>\n <li>Team-player, able to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.</li>\n <li>Adaptable and agile within a dynamic work environment</li>\n <li>Technologically capable, comfortable operating in multiple systems for communication and documentation purposes.
