    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">WHAT'S THE ROLE?</span></p>\n<p>As an experienced Systems Engineer, you will be an expert in the field of perimeter intrusion detection systems (PIDS), design and integration. We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support design, integration, and deployment of security solutions for critical infrastructure environments.</p>\n<p>This role focuses on protecting high-risk facilities through advanced detection technologies, system integration, and operational reliability in critical settings.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate understands the unique operational, regulatory, and reliability requirements of critical infrastructure and can bridge the gap between physical security systems, networking, and operational technology.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #3a3838\">YOUR</span><br><span style=\"color: #3a3838\">PRIMARY</span><br><span style=\"color: #3a3838\">RESPONSIBILITIES</span><br><span style=\"color: #3a3838\">AS AN IENET SYSTEMS ENGINEER:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">System Design &amp; Engineering:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and configure systems including mounted cameras, radars, lighting, and hybrid detection technologies</li>\n<li>Develop system architectures that integrate PID with video surveillance, access control, PSIM, and SOC platforms (Genetec, Milestone, others).</li>\n<li>Produce engineering documentation including system drawings, network diagrams, BOMs, and configuration standards.</li>\n<li>Direct activities of multi-discipline engineering team consisting of 3-4 mechanical and electrical engineers.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Integration &amp; Deployment:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead or support system integration, commissioning, and acceptance testing for PID solutions in live critical infrastructure environments.</li>\n<li>Integrate PID systems with video management systems (VMS), alarm management systems, SCADA/OT networks, and enterprise security platforms.</li>\n<li>Support field deployments, troubleshooting, tuning, and optimization to minimize false alarms while maintaining high detection performance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Operations &amp; Sustainment:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical oversight for deployed PID systems.</li>\n<li>Conduct root cause analysis for system faults, alarms, and performance issues.</li>\n<li>Support lifecycle management including upgrades, patches, and system refreshes.</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOP).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compliance &amp; Risk:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure solutions align with critical infrastructure security standards and regulations (e.g., NERC CIP, TSA, DHS, DoD, ISO 27001/22301 as applicable).</li>\n<li>Participate in security assessments, site surveys, and vulnerability analyses.</li>\n<li>Support customer audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaboration &amp; Leadership:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with project managers and engineering stakeholders.</li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance to installers, subcontractors, and junior engineers.</li>\n<li>Participate in design reviews, customer workshops, and solution presentations.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #404040\">TYPES OF PROJECTS &amp; DRAWINGS:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Critical Infrastructure (CI) site plans: Utility sub-stations and service centers, hydro-electric dams and pumping stations, natural gas transfer stations.</li>\n<li>System interconnect schematics and network mapping.</li>\n<li>Process equipment layouts and mechanical mounts.</li>\n<li>Large drawing sets, up to (60) pages of combined drawing types.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #404040\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>(7-10) years of related engineering experience including working with electrical contractors, technology integrators, and end users.</li>\n<li>Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree. </li>\n<li>Ability to travel, depending on project load. </li>\n<li>Proven ability to lead engineering projects to successful closure alongside Project Management within scope of work and budget constraints.  </li>\n<li>Strong communication skills, both written and presentation in front of customers and integrators.</li>\n<li>Proven ability to lead and delegate work to 3-4 engineers on large project-based engineering work. </li>\n<li>Expert in network/PoE/electrical troubleshooting and product specific requirements for installation (hardware and software). </li>\n<li>Professional Network Certifications or similar experience (preferred). </li>\n<li>Expert in IP cameras, video analytics, recording and video management systems installation and commissioning. </li>\n<li>Experience with Perimeter Security for Power Plants (Conventional and Nuclear) and Data Centers a strong plus.</li>\n<li>Professional IP camera + video management system Certifications or similar experience (e.g. Genetec Security Center Enterprise Technical Certification, Axis Certified Professional, and others).</li>\n<li>Proficiency in system hardening and data security.</li>\n<li>Cybersecurity – CompTIA Security+ or equivalent a plus. </li>\n<li>High skill level in 2D CAD (AutoCAD) required.</li>\n<li>Experience in 3D CAD a plus (SolidWorks) or similar. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"color: #3a3838\">ADDITIONAL</span><br><span style=\"color: #3a3838\">INFORMATION:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Location: Wilsonville, OR</li>\n<li>Reports To: Engineering Manager</li>\n<li>Job Type: Full-Time</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><br></span><br></p>",
