    "description": "<h2>The Opportunity</h2>\n<p>RS&H is currently seeking a <strong>Structural Building Engineering Associate </strong>to join our team. This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote. As part of the infrastructure team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by compiling data and assisting with permit and report preparation and material testing; completing elementary design calculations and preparing quantity takeoffs and estimates and engineering plans; performing basic design tasks utilizing engineering software and technology; preparing drawings and visual aids; and performing as-needed field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects to gain increased understanding of construction practices and design applications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>All applicants must be located or relocate to the Space Coast</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To be successful in this role, you must:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Have a bachelor's degree in <strong>civil engineering</strong> from an accredited program.  \n  <ul>\n   <li>Coursework in steel design and concrete design</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Have awareness of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.</li>\n <li>Possess basic knowledge of production software.</li>\n <li>Prior use of FEA analysis software (STAAD, SAP2000, RISA, Ansys, etc.)</li>\n <li>Have a passion for engineering and a willingness to grow and learn.</li>\n <li>Possess solid oral and written communication skills and have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Masters in Structural is a plus</li>\n <li>2 years of experience</li>\n</ul>\n<p>If this sounds like the role for you and you're ready to join an amazing team, please apply.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>An Equal Opportunity Employer.
