Operating from our head office, warehouse, and purpose-built training centre in Hertford, we deliver high-quality electrical services while continuously developing and supporting our people.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p>We’re seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Testing &amp; Inspection Engineer to join our growing team, working across London, Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role involves carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and completing associated remedial works across a diverse portfolio of properties, including domestic homes, communal areas within multi-occupancy residential buildings, and sheltered accommodation schemes.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key leadership role, providing guidance, mentoring, and hands-on training to junior engineers, while supporting new team members in developing their technical skills and confidence.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will work closely with Qualified Supervisors (QSs) and Site Supervisors to ensure all work is delivered to a consistently high standard and remains fully compliant with BS-7671 and all relevant Health &amp; Safety regulations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>While the primary focus is on inspection and testing, the role may also include:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Electrical installation work</li>\n<li>Reactive maintenance</li>\n<li>Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and complete any required remedial works in line with current standards and client specifications.</li>\n<li>Support, mentor, and provide training to a team of electricians.</li>\n<li>Undertake electrical testing, inspection, installation, and maintenance as required.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate a strong understanding of electrical systems, with the ability to identify and report faults effectively.</li>\n<li>Interpret electrical and site drawings when necessary.</li>\n<li>Follow safe working practices in accordance with current health and safety legislation and all relevant regulations.</li>\n<li>Accurately complete and submit reports and certification electronically via PDA within required timeframes.</li>\n<li>Communicate professionally with clients, residents, and colleagues.</li>\n<li>Deliver a high standard of customer service at all times.</li>\n<li>Comply with all company policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Participate in training and development opportunities provided by the company.</li>\n<li>Support business changes and initiatives that contribute to company growth and improvement.<span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span><br></span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the electrical industry</li>\n<li>Extensive experience in electrical testing and inspection procedures</li>\n<li>Proven experience working with three-phase electrical systems</li>\n<li>Solid background in electrical installations</li>\n<li>Experienced in completing electrical certification and reports</li>\n<li>Skilled in fault finding and diagnostics</li>\n<li>Previous supervisory experience is advantageous, but not essential</li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li>\n<li>Accurate and thorough in reporting completed works and identifying further requirements</li>\n<li>Confident using mobile devices to complete electronic job sheets efficiently and accurately</li>\n<li>Strong practical and hands-on skills</li>\n<li>Effective communication skills at all levels</li>\n<li>Good organisational and administrative abilities</li>\n<li>Positive attitude with strong time management and punctuality</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What You Will Have</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installations or equivalent </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">NVQ Level 3 and AM2 </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">City and Guilds 2391-52 </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"text-decoration: rgb(0, 0, 0)\">BS7671 -<span> </span></span>18th Edition</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">A full UK driving license </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">At Fixatex, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
