Working alongside teams in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Microsoft 365</span> or <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Google Workspace</span>, Burai monitors communications, joins meetings, and generates actionable summaries and tasks - so work moves forward without the overhead of manual coordination.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Opportunity</span></p>\n<p>As our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Director of AI</span>, you’ll define the AI strategy, lead a world‑class team, and deliver scalable, secure, and responsible AI solutions on <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Azure</span> that power Burai’s next wave of agentic automation.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Set the AI vision &amp; roadmap</span> aligned to business outcomes; prioritize initiatives across GenAI, LLMs, RL, and NLP</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Build and lead</span> a high performing org of AI engineers, data scientists, and research scientists; establish best practices across model development, evaluation, and MLOps.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Ship production AI</span>: design, deploy, and operate models and AI agents at scale in a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">multi‑tenant SaaS</span> environment with strong SLAs.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Architect agentic systems</span>: develop prompting strategies, retrieval of augmented generation, and vector-based memory using modern embeddings.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Own the platform on Azure</span>: leverage Azure ML/Cognitive Services, containerization, and CI/CD to ensure security, reliability, and cost efficiency.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Integrate our stack</span>: lead services built with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Python</span> and <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">FastAPI</span>, orchestrate agents (MCP preferred), and connect to vector DBs and data stores.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Collaborate cross functionally</span> with Product, Engineering, and Design to embed AI into customer experiences and internal tools.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Champion Responsible AI</span> practices (privacy, fairness, explainability) and defines KPIs for model quality, latency, safety, and business impact.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mentor &amp; evangelize</span> level up the team, share learnings internally, and represent Burai in the external AI community.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Experience:</span> 8+ years in AI/ML with 3+ years leading high‑impact teams and shipping AI to production.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education:</span> MS/PhD in CS, ML, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Technical depth:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Languages &amp; Services:</span> Python (FastAPI), plus familiarity with Node.js or Go.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Frameworks:</span> PyTorch or TensorFlow; LangChain; Hugging Face ecosystem.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Retrieval &amp; Memory:</span> Vector databases such as Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, Milvus.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cloud &amp; MLOps:</span> Azure-first deployment, containerization, CI/CD, observability.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Data Stores:</span> PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Neo4j (relational and NoSQL).</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Agentic &amp; Interfaces:</span> Model Context Protocol (preferred), robust prompting, RAG pipelines.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Voice/Vision Add‑ons:</span> Integration experience with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Google ADK</span> is a plus.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Product mindset &amp;
