    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Element has an opportunity for a <strong>Test Technician</strong> to join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurate test results under direct supervision.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary: $20- $30/hr DOE </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Sets up and conducts environmental simulation tests specifically focused on Dynamics: Vibration and Shock, but also including Climatics: Temperature/Humidity, Thermal Shock, Salt Spray, HALT, IP and NEMA Spray, Drop, Compression, Cargo Bounce, Accelerated Weathering, Acceleration, Altitude, Thermal Vacuum, and Pressure.</li>\n <li>Documents test setup, progression, and results</li>\n <li>Organizes and documents data for each assigned project in the project’s test log</li>\n <li>Maintains in-depth knowledge of test standards, product test procedures, and instrumentation</li>\n <li>Interacts with customers during the testing process, periodically assists with troubleshooting and development and schedule modifications</li>\n <li>Performs preventive maintenance on test and support equipment</li>\n <li>Performs responsibilities in compliance with all Company policies including but not limited to Terms and Conditions, Trade Compliance, treatment of others, moral code of conduct, and Employee Handbook</li>\n <li>Performs responsibilities in adherence to all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to safety, environment, and corporate governance</li>\n <li>Applies the principals of 5S (Sort, Set In Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain) in the performance of daily work responsibilities to ensure a clean, orderly, and safe work area</li>\n <li>Abides by and ensures that all duties are performed in accordance with all Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE), Trade Compliance, and Quality practices, policies, and regulations</li>\n <li>Maintains customer confidentiality at all times</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills / Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Working knowledge of laboratory safety</p>\n<ul>\n <li>HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a testing related field - dynamics testing preferred</li>\n <li>Analyzes and compiles testing data from the tests performed</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of testing concepts- dynamics preferred</li>\n <li>Possess computer skills</li>\n <li>Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Demands:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Frequency of required physical force: Minimum (moderate)</li>\n <li>Lifting requirements: lifting <50 lbs. often and >50 lbs. on occasion</li>\n <li>Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time</li>\n <li>Ability to lift 50+lbs periodically</li>\n</ul>Willing to work split shift or overnight shift to support testing when needed. \n<h2>Diversity Statement</h2>\n<p>At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
