We strongly encourage candidates of color, and/or from diverse backgrounds/underrepresented groups to apply.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">JOB OVERVIEW</span></p>\n<p>The Stage Management Production Assistant provides critical support to the Stage Management team throughout the rehearsal and production process. This role assists in maintaining rehearsal schedules, tracking production elements, and providing essential deck support during performances to ensure a safe and efficient production.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REQUIREMENTS</span><br>Collaborate closely with the Production Stage Manager and Assistant Stage Managers to maintain rehearsal room schedules.<br>Track props, costumes, and script changes accurately throughout the rehearsal process.<br>Assist in creating and updating necessary paperwork for backstage tracking and run sheets.<br>Provide on-deck support during technical rehearsals and performances for the Stage Crew and Stage Management team.<br>Manage stage management inventory, including purchasing, ordering, and tracking departmental expenses.<br>Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized work environment in all rehearsal and performance spaces.<br>Other duties as assigned.</p>\n<p><br><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span><br>Prior stage management experience is required; familiarity with Equity (AEA) guidelines is a plus.<br>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite for administrative and tracking tasks.<br>Exceptional organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.<br>Ability to stand for extended periods and navigate backstage environments in low-light conditions.<br>Knowledge of other technical production areas is beneficial.<br>Must be comfortable working with students and volunteers.<br>*This job description is not comprehensive and is subject to change at any time</p>\n<p>HOW TO APPLY<br>Complete application through https://barringtonstageco.bamboohr.com/careers/ <br>No phone calls, please.<br></p>",
