    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p><img src=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/cccustom/Client/Recruitment/tds_logo-color72dpi_c6286a6e-c139-4362-8a8b-6805e04864b5.jpg\" style=\"width: 300px;\" class=\"fr-fic fr-dib\" filepath=\"/Client/Recruitment/tds_logo-color72dpi_c6286a6e-c139-4362-8a8b-6805e04864b5.jpg\" status=\"success\" isreadonly=\"false\" requestresponseid=\"52c8541c-0565-4c69-9c3a-d6d27ab8c52c\" servertimetaken=\"968\"></p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong><u>JOB SUMMARY</u></strong></p><p>The Facility Technician II is a journeyman level position that performs general maintenance in the areas of minor construction, dry wall, masonry, roofing, electrical, plumbing, and buildings, grounds and facilities repairs. &nbsp;This position will also perform welding and form repair projects, install or assist with the installation of HVAC systems and assist with training new Facility Technicians. &nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong><u>CORE RESPONSIBILITIES</u></strong></p><ol><li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when and where required.</li><li>Perform general maintenance, as well as buildings, grounds and facilities repairs. &nbsp;</li><li>Operate various maintenance equipment, including but not limited to: hand, electrical or air tools, pressure washers and lawn maintenance equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Immediately report safety violations and correct unsafe acts or conditions.</li><li>Comply with company safety policies and procedures, including using the lock-out/tag-out system before performing maintenance work. &nbsp;</li><li>Perform monthly building and HVAC inspections.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform monthly inspections on fire extinguishers and maintain the accompanying documentation.</li><li>Assist with stocking, unloading and delivering supplies.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with maintaining property security.&nbsp;</li><li>Document repair operations and time-tracking in accordance with company procedures. &nbsp;</li><li>Maintain equipment and tools essential to accomplishing daily tasks.</li><li>Perform general housekeeping and engineering-related duties.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ol><p><br></p><p><strong><u>REQUIRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or its equivalent</li><li>At least three years of relevant experience, or completion of a trade school program</li><li>Ability to identify problems and implement solutions</li><li>Demonstrated familiarity with the principles and techniques of plumbing repair, wood finishing, painting, electrical work and carpentry</li><li>Working knowledge of the operational characteristics of mechanical equipment and tools</li><li>Working knowledge of lawn maintenance and landscaping procedures</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively in English</li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English</li></ul><p><span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span></p><p><strong><u>PREFERRED SKILLS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>At least two years of general building maintenance experience</li><li>Course work or other trades training</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>REQUIRED LICENSES &amp; CERTIFICATIONS</u></strong></p><ul><li>Valid Class C driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Safe driving record for the last three years</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p></div></div>\n",
