We work with our partners to meet urgent needs, create opportunities to succeed, promote well-being, and advocate for just policies and practices.</em></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Fleet Manager</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">40 hours/week &ndash; 52 weeks/year</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing all vehicles and Transportation related assets, including their operations, conditions, external and internal policy compliance and overall performance. Comply with Maine DOT/FTA/FMCSR requirements relating to Fleet Maintenance.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The Fleet Manager will:</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Manage Preventative Maintenance-Schedule and track routine service, inspections, and required regulatory maintenance including all documentation both electronic and paper file.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Coordinate Repairs-Arrange urgent and non-urgent repairs, perform minor fixes, and support diagnostic troubleshooting with vendors.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Conduct Vehicle Inspections-Perform Annual Transit Vehicle Inspections, 90-Day Emergency Exit Inspections, and ensure vehicles are prepared for transfer or disposal.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Oversee Seasonal &amp; Environmental Needs-Coordinate winter snow removal assist drivers with removing snow from the vehicles.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Ensure Regulatory Adherence-Maintain compliance with FTA, FMCSR, and State DOT regulations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Provide Maintenance Reporting-Deliver timely reports to management on fleet condition, maintenance activities, and operational progress.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Participate in Required Training-Attend training sessions. Meeting and conferences with Maine Department of Transportation/FTA related to maintenance and vehicle procurement.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Ability to perform light duty mechanical repairs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\">&middot; Proficient with vehicle diagnostics.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The preferred applicant possesses two (2) years college course work or equivalent work experience; &middot; Trained mechanic; Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License, preferred but not required; good defensive driving skills and a clean driving record. State of Maine Commercial Vehicle Inspection License. Experience with Braun Lift/Ramp Systems or similar Lift systems.
