The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating material handling equipment, including cranes, to move and process scrap metal within our facility. Safety and efficiency are top priorities, and we are looking for someone who is self-motivated, a team player, and able to work in all weather conditions. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><em><strong>What You Will Do</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate material handling crane to move material with a grappple or mag within the facility.</li>\n <li>Load and unload trucks / trailers of material with crane or other material handling equipment.</li>\n <li>Process and prepare scrap metal material for shipping per instructions.</li>\n <li>Perform daily inspection and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.</li>\n <li>Direct customers within the facility and help customers unload material.</li>\n <li>All other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em><strong>What We Look For</strong></em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.</li>\n <li>Must be highly self-motivated.</li>\n <li>A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations, without exception.</li>\n <li>Team player dedicated to the organization.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of scrap metal preferred but not required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>BENEFITS:</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Omni offers competitive compensation and a full benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, employee stock purchase plan, disability coverage, employee assistance program, paid vacation/holidays and 401K.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>If you are an experienced excavator operator with a commitment to safety and efficiency, apply now to be a part of our dedicated team!
