Regular travel between them may be required.</p><p><strong>Position Summary &amp; Purpose</strong></p><p>The Night Shift Electrical Maintenance Technician supports safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment up to 480 volts. This role focuses on unplanned equipment issues during night operations as well as preventive and predictive maintenance.</p><p>The position works closely with the day-shift Electrician, who provides technical guidance, mentoring, and support for complex troubleshooting and design standards. The two roles are paired to ensure 24-hour coverage, with the Electrician focusing on higher-level design and standards, and the Technician focused on consistent execution, reliability, and communication.</p><p><u><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></u></p><p><strong>1)</strong> <strong>Safety &amp; Compliance</strong></p><p>· Work safely at all times and model safe behaviors.</p><p>· Follow lockout/tagout, arc flash practices, PPE requirements, and all plant safety procedures.</p><p>· Ensure all work complies with applicable codes and company standards.</p><p><strong>2)</strong> <strong>Operations Support &amp; Troubleshooting</strong></p><p>· Respond quickly to unplanned equipment issues to minimize downtime.</p><p>· Troubleshoot and repair motors, controls, sensors, relays, and electrical devices.</p><p>· Support mechanical repairs and assist the operations team as needed.</p><p>· Provide detailed hand-off notes for the day-shift Electrician and Maintenance Manager.</p><p><strong>3)</strong> <strong>Preventative &amp; Predictive Maintenance</strong></p><p>· Perform inspections, cleaning, torque checks, and calibration for assigned equipment.</p><p>· Use predictive maintenance tools such as thermal imaging, ultrasonic testing, and standard electrical test equipment.</p><p>· Maintain lighting and emergency systems at the plant.</p><p>· Document root causes and corrective actions.</p><p><strong>4)</strong> <strong>Documentation and Systems</strong></p><p>· Record work orders, parts used, and accurate repair notes in the CMMS.</p><p>· Communicate repair status and risks clearly to Maintenance Manager and day-shift Electrician.</p><p>· Provide feedback on recurring issues to support reliability improvements.</p>",
