Join our growing team and apply today!</span><br><br><strong>Job Summary:</strong> The Detailer is responsible for analyzing blueprints, specifications and other<br>                          contract documents to prepare accurate schedules for doors, frames, and hardware<br>                          on commercial construction projects.<br><br><strong>Work hours: </strong>Monday thru Friday 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch <br></p>\n<p><strong>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:</strong><br>• Review construction documents and understand scope of work, contractual obligations, specifications, and construction schedules.<br>• Accurately create hardware sets based on room functions.<br>• Enter costs and products into the computer system based on opening.<br>• Address significant variances between detailed and estimated costs.<br>• Prepare shop drawings, schedules, and submittals using manufacturer catalog cut sheets, and industry specific software.<br>• Provide technical assistance to project managers, sales, and purchasing staff.<br>• Provide initial RFI’s to architects when there are questions/concerns with specifications, drawings or hardware sets.<br>• Assist Project Mangers with change orders, ASI, and RFI’s.<br>• Obtain approved Manufactures quotations.<br>• Accomplish any other special projects and duties as assigned.<br></p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong><br>• Sit for long periods<br>• Long periods of computer usage/ monitor viewing<br>• Repetitive use of hands and fingers<br>• Ability to listen and talk to customers/ suppliers<br>• Regularly lift or move up to 20 + pounds<br><br><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</strong><br>• Experience with the commercial door &amp; hardware industry<br>• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills<br>• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check</p>\n</div>\n",
