Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Survey Technician Intern for a field-intensive seasonal position. As a Survey Technician Intern, you will have the opportunity to be involved in large, multi-discipline projects while developing diverse skill sets.
Work under the direction of Survey Crew Chief to accomplish daily tasks including, but not limited to: Set up and operate GPS, total stations, data collectors, and other conventional survey equipment Perform boundary, topographic, control, and construction layout surveys Maintain accurate field notes and data records Maintain survey equipment and vehicles Follow all safety procedures and company standards
Pursuing a degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field Basic understanding of survey principles, and familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and Trimble equipment/software is preferred FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License is a plus Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods (potential for 40+ hour work weeks) Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on uneven terrain Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Ability to obtain required safety certifications (MSHA)
