We value those who are committed to our core values of Advocacy, Courtesy, Efficiency, and Safety.</span></h2><p><b>Position Summary: </b>The pharmacy technician must work with pharmacy staff, Quality Correctional Care staff, and county staff to provide medications to inmates and facilities.</p><p><b>Mandatory Functions:</b></p><p>· Comply with all current and future state, federal, and local laws and regulations.</p><p>· Comply with court orders, medical department rules and the policies and procedures of Quality Rx.</p><p>· Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriate therapy, and interactions and communicate</p><p>· Assist pharmacist by accurately and efficiently processing, packaging, and dispensing prescriptions</p><p>· Remove outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.</p><p>· Closely manage inventory in a cost-effective manner</p><p>· Recommend improved procedures, equipment, and supplies to supervisor.</p><p>· Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.</p><p>· Present/participate in in-service education sessions.</p><p>· Maintain professional attitude at all times.</p><p>· Any and all duties as assigned.</p><p><b>Requirements: </b>Pharmacy technician must be licensed in the state of Indiana. <u><strong>Closed door pharmacy experience required.</strong></u></p><p><b>Position Details: </b>This is a PRN position. Pharmacy Hours are M-F, 8AM-4PM.</p>",
