    "description": "<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>An Interior Designer will professionally assist homeowners in designing kitchens and baths that meet the needs and demands of the home’s occupants. They work with the homeowner to design a layout that matches the lifestyle of the homeowners. These designs incorporate important aspects including the overall flow, colors, specific materials and lighting.</p>\n<h2>Highlights of your role</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Meet with clients and work collaboratively to determine the design goals</li>\n <li>Plan the overall appearance and function of kitchen or bath space</li>\n <li>Meet with suppliers and vendors of products including cabinets, flooring, and lighting</li>\n <li>Coordinate colors, materials, and lighting for space to achieve design goals</li>\n <li>Work with contractors to oversee installation to achieve client’s goals</li>\n <li>Maintain awareness of trends and product development as they relate to interior design</li>\n <li>Design for the whole house, floor plans and exterior finishes</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to use hand tools including tape measure</li>\n <li>Ability to scale real site conditions into drawings</li>\n <li>Ability to utilize CAD to draw projects which will assist clients in conceptualizing the project</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – in order to communicate with client as well as contractors</li>\n <li>Ability to connect with and work collaboratively with contractors and receive feedback</li>\n <li>Strong project management skills with the ability to focus on and deliver projects under budget and ahead of schedule</li>\n <li>Ability to envision projects including how color and light balance out in projects</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>We invite you to See Yourself at Marvin</h2>\n<p>From people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
