The duration of this program is typically 6 to 18 months depending on the individual. Acadia provides relocation assistance to candidates who successfully complete the program.</strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer in Training: During the training program, the CFO in training will focus on developing the following skills and responsibilities:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Monitor and control accounts receivables.</li>\n<li>Oversee Business Office functions to ensure cash collection goals are met and net revenue is accurately reported.</li>\n<li>Improve the profitability of the hospital by monitoring costs, particularly in relation to patient volume and staffing.</li>\n<li>Develop and enforce policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues.</li>\n<li>Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and reports/analysis.</li>\n<li>Provide reconciliations, account analysis, and other information to support the Reimbursement Department, Tax Department, Auditors, etc.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with management and department heads to prepare the annual budget, reviewing prior financial results and identifying future needs and trends of the facility.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Requirements for the Program: To be considered for the CFO Training Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
