    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Ciklum </strong>is looking for a <strong>Senior Automation QA Engineer </strong>to join our team full-time in Canada.</p><p>We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.</p><p><strong>About the role:</strong></p><p>On behalf of Ciklum, we are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our remote team on a full-time basis. Ciklum is building a team to work on a project for one of the global retailers which primary goal to improve and automate the customer’s business processes, reduce time and efforts, required for various operations.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Architect test automation framework from scratch</li><li>Develop automated functional API/Service level tests using Java and SoapUI</li><li>Create and execute performance tests using Gatling and JMeter</li><li>Integrate automated scripts into CI/CD process</li><li>Develop, maintain and expand automated testing infrastructure</li><li>Devise and document test frameworks, coding standards, preferred design patterns, and development methodologies</li><li>Ensure code quality with peer reviews to ensure guidelines and standards are followed</li><li>Define Quality Metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product as a part of test automation process</li><li>Make conclusion and report about the quality of the product under test</li><li>Collaborate with other members of the QA team to automate the manual test processes</li><li>Manage, analyze and mitigate testing risks</li><li>Onboarding of new team members on the project</li><li>Technical advice for the testing teams</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>10+ years of professional experience in QA Automation of backend/API testing</li><li>Solid skills in Java programming patterns and principles</li><li>Excellent knowledge of different testing methods, techniques, types and methodologies</li><li>Hands on experience with SoapUI, Gatling, JMeter</li><li>Experience in creation of test documentation (test strategy, test plans, test reports, etc.)</li><li>Experience in creation of automation frameworks from scratch on Azure cloud</li><li>Previous experience in functional and performance testing of Data Management systems build on Azure</li><li>Good Knowledge of SQL and no-SQL DBs (PostgreSQL, mongo, redis etc.)</li><li>Experience with continuous integration processes and tools, CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Good knowledge of Azure DevOps services</li><li>Experience of working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban development environment</li><li>Good English skills – Upper-Intermediate and above</li></ul><p><strong>Desirabe:</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge of other programming languages would be a great plus</li><li>Integration of GDPR principles in automated testing</li><li>Hand-on experience with Docker</li><li>Experience with testing message brokers/queues: SQS, SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc</li><li>Personal skills (soft skills):</li><li>Self-motivated to continually learn and adopt the latest industry innovations and technology</li><li>Self-disciplined and result-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision</li><li>Strong communication and problem solving skills</li><li>Good team player, motivated to solve complex tasks</li><li>`Good analytical skills</li><li>Strong attention to details and accuracy</li><li>Work Hours between - 4 PM to 1:00 AM IST</li></ul><p><strong>What`s in it for you?</strong></p><ul><li>Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment</li><li>Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise</li><li>Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications</li><li>Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies</li><li>Care: Healthcare, Basic Life Insurance, Short and Long-term disability insurance according to the Company’s Benefit Plans</li></ul><p><strong>About us:</strong></p><p>At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter.
