Our HoPE Lab (<a href=\"https://www.speranzalab.com/\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.speranzalab.com/</a> ) investigates how immune responses are coordinated and orchestrated within the tissue microenvironment during early infection. This position offers hands-on experience in high-containment research environments, including biosafety level 3 (BSL-3) and biosafety level 4 (BSL-4) laboratories, and is ideal for candidates interested in immunology, infectious diseases, animal research, and computational biology. We use a wide range of standard and advanced immunological and molecular techniques to characterize infection dynamics and define the role of innate immune pathways.
