As a field-based medical and scientific expert, the MSL will engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across the Southeast region—building meaningful relationships, driving high-quality scientific discussions, and serving as a trusted resource in eye disease education, emerging therapies, data science, and product knowledge.</p>\n<p>This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, research-focused environment and is energized by connecting science, practice, and innovation within the eye-care community.</p>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Build and expand strategic, compliant scientific relationships with optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other KOLs across the region.</li>\n <li>Serve as a field-based expert, delivering relevant medical and scientific insights to both internal and external stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Respond to medical inquiries with clear, evidence-based information supporting the appropriate use of Glaukos products, including compliant responses to unsolicited off-label questions.</li>\n <li>Gather and communicate actionable clinical insights that inform strategy and enhance patient outcomes.</li>\n <li>Create strong professional networks with high-impact decision-makers and thought leaders in eye care.</li>\n <li>Represent Medical Affairs at local, regional, and national conferences—participating in scientific sessions and engaging HCPs at medical booths.</li>\n <li>Support clinical evidence generation through collaboration on investigator-initiated research proposals.</li>\n <li>Maintain deep expertise in relevant disease states, emerging therapeutic options, and the evolving competitive landscape.</li>\n <li>Deliver scientific and practice education to eye-care centers while collaborating cross-functionally with clinical operations, market access, sales, and marketing.</li>\n <li>Work closely with optometric and ophthalmic medical societies across the region.</li>\n <li>Optimize field medical processes, insight gathering, and training initiatives.</li>\n <li>Manage territory planning, budgets, KOL mapping, and CRM documentation with accuracy and timeliness.</li>\n <li>Travel up to 70% (field visits, conferences, and headquarters meetings).</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What You’ll Bring</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Doctorate degree (OD, PharmD, PhD, MD, DO).</li>\n <li>8+ years of combined relevant industry/clinical experience.</li>\n <li>1-1.5+ years of prior MSL/medical affairs experience in eye care preferred.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, and presentation skills.</li>\n <li>Strong scientific acumen paired with the ability to translate complex data into clear, meaningful insights.</li>\n <li>High level of organization and proactive planning in a fast-moving environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to operate with professionalism and compliance even in evolving or less-defined processes.</li>\n <li>Strong collaboration, influence, and independent decision-making abilities.</li>\n <li>Analytical, adaptable, and comfortable navigating changing priorities.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.</li>\n <li>Residency within commuting distance to a major airport in the Southeast region.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>#GKOSUS</p>\n<p>#LI-Remote</p>",
