    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Primary Job Functions:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Clinical Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains an active role as program leader.</li>\n <li>Provides effective clinical assessment of the consumer.</li>\n <li>Utilizes assessment date to support a DSM V diagnosis.</li>\n <li>Formulates appropriate treatment plan along with consumer and families, as appropriate.</li>\n <li>Provides individual, group and family therapy, utilizing basic therapeutic modelsand theories according to consumer needs as stated in the treatment plan</li>\n <li>Demonstrates the ability to recognize the elements of a crisis state and knows how to deescalate or resolve the situation.</li>\n <li>Effectively collaborates with the treatment team members and outside sources in the delivery of clinical services.</li>\n <li>Provides support and education for consumers and family members.</li>\n <li>Evaluates the consumer for discharge planning.</li>\n <li>Facilitates services that prevent commitment.</li>\n <li>Adheres to professional code of ethics.</li>\n <li>Effectively demonstrates the application of adult and child/adolescent specific competencies.</li>\n <li>Assists with seclusion and restraint per AltaPointe policy and procedures.</li>\n <li>Provides effective clinical assessment of the consumer.</li>\n <li>Utilizes assessment data to support a DSM 5 diagnosis.</li>\n <li>Formulates a person centered, recovery oriented, medically appropriate treatment plan along with consumer that proves medical necessity and obtains signature when plan is created, updated and/or revised.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Administers appropriate personnel functions:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assists supervisors with interviews when necessary and completes appropriate forms as outlined by Personnel Policy and Procedures</li>\n <li>Provides training in the general orientation of the facility, policies and procedures, program operations and specific skill areas.</li>\n <li>Is knowledgeable and applies personnel policies and procedures on a consistent basis.</li>\n <li>Objectively completes employee performance evaluations on supervised staff and routes to Personnel Department on a timely basis.</li>\n <li>Provides positive and effective leadership.</li>\n <li>Provides staff with consultation and supervision as needed, individually or through group staff meetings.</li>\n <li>Ensures competence of staff</li>\n <li>Monitors staff work activities to ensure that they are performing all duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Supervision and Consultation:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Seeks clinical supervision and consultation as needed.</li>\n <li>Accepts and employs suggestions for improvement.</li>\n <li>Actively works to enhance clinical skills.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Clinical Record Keeping:</p>\n<li>Documents in a timely fashion per AltaPointe policy</li>\n<li>Documents appropriate, complete, and clinically comprehensive mental health assessments</li>\n<li>Documents measurable and specific problems, goals, and objectives in the treatment plan</li>\n<li>Documents in a clear and concise manner, types of consumer problems, treatment goals and objectives addressed, services, and techniques used, consumer response and progress and plan for continued services.</li>\n<li>Documents case disposition, case closings, follow-up and referrals</li>\n<li>Documents legibly and provides credentials with each signature.</li>\n<li>Learns and utilizes Avatar.</li>\n<li>Documents incidents through RL-6.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:  </strong></p>\n<p>Master’s degree in a mental health discipline.   </p>",
