    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>The Branch Fleet Technician will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment and hydrovac operation by performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary adjustments and alignments. Corrects vehicle deficiencies and keeps accurate records with guidance and direction. Manages work orders in Fleetio to ensure comprehensive documentation and tracking. This role is crucial for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of diesel equipment, ultimately supporting the overall operational success of the organization.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>The compensation for this role will be commensurate based on education and/or experience.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What You'll Be Doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Performs inspection, diagnosis and repair of assigned vehicles and equipment and preventative maintenance such as oil changes and greasing of trucks</li><li>Conducts safety checks on trucks</li><li>Maintains a clear line of communication to the Branch Manager and Regional Fleet Staff and other staff in the maintenance department</li><li>Keeps the Hydrovac Fleet operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance</li><li>Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications</li><li>Occasionally may perform service calls for emergency breakdowns</li><li>Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established procedures</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Education: High School Diploma</li><li>Licensed Heavy Duty Technician</li><li>Driver’s License required; Class B CDL license is preferred</li><li>Demands include frequent sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, and reaching.
