The ideal candidate has a passion for baking, strong decorating skills, and experience creating specialty and wedding cakes. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, artistic, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced bakery environment.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em><u>Duties:&nbsp;</u></em></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Accurately scale and mix fillings and icings. Prepare and bake cakes, pastries, and other baked goods according to bakery recipes and standards&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Decorate cakes with buttercream, fondant, and other techniques</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Design and decorate specialty cakes, including wedding cakes and custom orders</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with food safety standards</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with ingredient preparation and inventory when needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure product quality and consistency in all baked items</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Follow custom orders and design specifications accurately (weddings, birthdays, special events, etc.)&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Deliver finished products for the bakery, sister property</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Any other tasks assigned by management</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><em><u>Qualifications:</u></em></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">1&ndash;2 years of experience in baking and cake decorating (at commercial bakery settings preferred)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience creating wedding cakes preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in buttercream, royal icing, fondant and specialized piping techniques (flowers, boarders)</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understanding of cake stability, filling preparation and icing consistency</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Understanding FIFO method is crucial</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong fine art and design skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Attention to details</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Portfolio demonstrating your previous work</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Basic math skills to calculate recipes, scale ingredients, and manage inventory</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to stand for long periods of time</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to work independently, efficiently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must have Driver&rsquo;s License- Driving pastries to Luscious &amp; Sweet Bakery</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><strong><em><u>Benefits:&nbsp;</u></em></strong>Full-time employees are entitled to only medical health insurance and IRA.</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Part- Time employees are entitled to NJ Sick- 40 hours.
