This role involves calculating service costs, setting competitive selling prices, managing service project budgets, and ensuring accurate data utilization for pricing models. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive requests efficiently.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Service Costing &amp; Pricing:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Calculate service costs for various countries, considering factors such as special pricing requests, discount structures, and different service grids or analyses.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Develop accurate cost assumptions and determine selling prices by adjusting gross profit (GP) in consultation with the line manager.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Respond to and manage ad hoc pricing requests from different stakeholders.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Project Costing &amp; Budgeting:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Provide support in terms of project planning and costing to projects in regions such as Africa, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and South America </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Determine resource requirements per project and ensure all associated costs (e.g., flights, accommodation, vehicle hire, food, salaries) are covered.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Establish project pricing by incorporating costs and adjusting GP in consultation with the line manager.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Supplier &amp; Laboratory Coordination:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicate with laboratories to obtain pricing for tests required in the services offered.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure laboratory costs are accurately incorporated into pricing models.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Data Analysis &amp; Costing Models:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Utilize data from company project database and other sources to verify the accuracy of assumptions used in costing models.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manipulate and analyze data to extract key insights for refining cost estimates.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Time &amp; Workflow Management:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Manage ad hoc tasks and pricing requests from various internal stakeholders, often under tight deadlines.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prioritize tasks effectively while ensuring accuracy and timely completion.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Keep track of all ongoing work and adjust workflow to meet business needs.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Minimum Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">BCom Finance degree</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">1 to 3 years’ experience as an Accountant, specifically Cost Accounting experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Candidates without the above qualifications but with relevant costing or cost accounting experience will also be considered</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Experience in pricing, costing, business analysis, or a similar role is advantageous</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Prior experience in an international business environment is a plus.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Skills &amp; Competencies:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong analytical and numerical skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to work with large datasets and extract meaningful insights.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet, and other relevant data tools.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple urgent tasks simultaneously.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Full professional proficiency in Afrikaans and English (speaking and writing).</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span></p>",
