    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>VICE PRINCIPAL 5-YEAR TERM - SALISBURY REGIONAL SCHOOL (second position)</strong></p><p><strong>2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR</strong></p><p>This position will commence for the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate will be required to take part in meetings, attend to planning, and preparation will be required prior to the official start date.</p><p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p><p>Subject to the response to this job requisition, education and experience requirements may be raised.&nbsp; All applicants must:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>have a minimum of five (5) years teaching experience would be considered an asset</li><li>hold or have the ability to have a continuing contract with a School District;&nbsp;</li><li>possess or willingness to obtain a New Brunswick Principal's Certificate.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>SHORTLISTING</strong></p><p>Only candidates meeting the above requirements may be considered for appointment to this position, except in cases where no fully qualified applicants apply.</p><p>For the purpose of shortlisting for interviews, preference will be given to applicants who:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>can demonstrate success in leading school improvement initiatives and working collaboratively to increase student learning outcomes;</li><li>have administration experience either in an acting or permanent capacity;</li><li>demonstrate implementation of research-based high impact instructional, and assessment practices appropriate to the level of the curriculum;</li><li>Bilingualism would be considered an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>APPLICATION PACKAGE</strong></p><p>A complete application must include:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>a<span>&nbsp; </span>cover letter;&nbsp;</li><li>a current resume;</li><li>a copy of the New Brunswick Principal’s Certificate&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Applicants who do not yet hold a New Brunswick Principal’s Certificate must clearly indicate in their cover letter and\\or resume:</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>their current status in the certification process;</li><li>which required graduate-level university courses and training modules they have completed to date.</li></ul><p>Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
