This position will supervise Team Members, maintain inventory and champion Asset Protection and Safety Management encompassing sales of approximately 4.5 million of food, liquor, fuel and ice cream in the resort community of Emma Lake.</p><p><strong>Who We Are: </strong>Lake Country Co-op does business differently. Our goal is to work together and build stronger, more vibrant communities where everyone can thrive.</p><p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong><br>• Model and champion Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles, fostering a strong customer-focused and results-driven culture.<br>• Lead, train, schedule, and supervise team members to maintain efficient operations and high customer service standards.<br>• Support and guide daily retail operations, including merchandising execution, inventory management, and team coordination.<br>• Monitor sales, labour costs, and store performance.<br>• Support hiring, onboarding, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions when required.<br>• Administer cash management, deposits, daily reporting, and Point-of-Sale System operations.<br>• Implement promotions, upselling strategies, and seasonal product displays to drive revenue.<br>• Conduct inventory counts, audits, and loss prevention procedures.<br>• Resolve escalated customer concerns professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term loyalty.<br>• Respond to emergencies, staffing shortages, or operational issues as needed.<br>• Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco, liquor, lottery, and fireworks.<br>• Champion and ensure compliance with all safety, asset protection, and operational policies and procedures.<br>• Perform minor repairs to assets as required.<br>• Perform all other duties as assigned.</p><p><strong>Who You Will Work With: </strong>Reporting to the Director, Food, you will be a key participant in initiating, developing, and executing plans and policies to ensure continued growth in sales, service, employee satisfaction, and customer experience.
