Must communicate effectively to train, develop and coach team members on their shift for long term performance. The Team Leader will be involved in organizing and planning regular maintenance work on all equipment and systems within the plant. The maintenance team leader will be in charge of reviewing and rationalizing preventive maintenance procedures, evaluating and maximizing maintenance procedures in collaboration with other support personnel and staff.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li> Assist hiring and training team members to include compliance with safety training, administer evaluations, enforce company policies and manage work schedules. </li>\n <li> Assist managing the implementation and operation of an inventory and PM schedule </li>\n <li> Schedule team members to fit work schedule </li>\n <li> Supervise multiple shift operation of maintenance technicians, parts personnel, and maintenance crew leaders. </li>\n <li> Work closely with production Plant Leadership and other department heads to streamline production </li>\n <li> Manage Maintenance Shop activities. </li>\n <li> Identify and make recommendations of new equipment, perform various installations and re-layout of production lines as needed. </li>\n <li> Responsible for managing and scheduling the everyday work and attendance of maintenance team members. </li>\n <li> Establish and administer departmental policies, safety procedures, regulations and SOP’s. </li>\n <li> Identify areas of opportunity and implement safe, cost effective solutions. </li>\n <li> Establish priorities for maintenance department, skills assessment and training opportunities. </li>\n <li> Continuous improvements with operations and work with production inefficiencies and implement appropriate corrective actions. </li>\n <li> Support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting procedures in all aspects of equipment applications and control systems. </li>\n <li> Leads the Maintenance team to meet or exceed regulatory or customer expectations in regards to food safety or quality. </li>\n <li> Backup to Maintenance Site Leader to meet or exceed regulator or customer expectations in regards to food safety or quality. </li>\n <li> Performs essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations. </li>\n <li> Performs other duties as assigned by the Management Team. </li>\n <li> As need dictates, both assigned shift and work location may be changed by management.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Ideal Mechanic Candidates Will Often A Combination Of These Backgrounds/Skillsets:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting (does not have to be food related)</li>\n <li>Mechanics that have both electrical and mechanical experience</li>\n <li>Strong electrical troubleshooting skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Allen Bradley product line</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>REQUIRED SKILLLS AND EXPERIENCE </u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of food manufacturing experience required. </li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years in leadership role preferred. </li>\n <li>Must be available to work weekends and extended time. </li>\n <li>Must possess the ability to supervise skilled workers and wide experience in plant operations. </li>\n <li>Must have excellent communication, problem solving and organizational skills. </li>\n <li>Must have excellent troubleshooting ability, technical knowledge of production equipment, mechanical and electrical equipment, computer operations, and ability to motivate maintenance personal under pressure. </li>\n <li>Knowledge of industrial tools and test equipment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekend and overtime as needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#LI-ONSITE</p>\n<p>#LI-JK1</p> \n<h2>Job Family</h2>Maintenance\n<h2>Job Level</h2>A-MFG",
