Description

Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Escondido is seeking an experienced Banquet Cook (Line Cook II) to support our high-volume events, catering, and banquet operations . This is a great opportunity for a culinary professional with a passion for large-scale food production, precision execution, and elevated presentation . In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and executing banquet-style menus , including both hot and cold items, for a wide range of events—from plated dinners to buffet service. You’ll work behind the scenes to ensure seamless event execution , consistent quality, and an exceptional guest experience. What You’ll Do Prepare and cook a variety of menu items including meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, sauces, and composed dishes Execute batch cooking and high-volume food production for banquet and catered events Prepare both hot and cold items , including garde manger-style dishes Follow recipes and plating standards to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation Execute mise en place for large-scale events , ensuring readiness for service Assist in plate assembly, garnishing, and buffet presentation Set up, maintain, and replenish buffet stations for optimal guest experience Coordinate closely with front-of-house (FOH) and events teams to ensure smooth service timing Maintain organization, labeling, storage, and food safety standards in a production kitchen environment
