This position reports to the Manufacturing Supervisor.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Principle Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Modify machine programs according to specifications</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Processes test part and does a first piece inspection and completes quality control sheet</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Makes necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards such as adjusting tooling offsets, electronic gauge and steady rest</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Performs simple maintenance on machines such as changing inserts</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Read and interpret routers and drawings</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Able to produce quality work and exercise judgment on quality acceptability</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Capable of performing at rates set by pre-determined time standards</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Able to perform in a team environment</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Required following all safety rules, use of proper PPE, and report any safety concerns</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Experience and Education Required</strong></p><p>&nbsp;&bull; High school education or equivalent</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to read blueprints and engineering specifications</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to read various precision measuring equipment including scales and dial indicators</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Good mechanical ability</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Technical Skills</strong></p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Ability to use various hand tools, hydraulic presses, air wrenches, electric motors, air gauges, bearing pre-load press, parts washer, and arbor press</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; May be required to operate a forklift</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Able to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects from 10-50 pounds continuously</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Flexible and overtime sometimes required</p><p>&nbsp;&bull; Requires standing continuously and walking occasionally throughout the day up to ten hours&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p id=\"isPasted\">HBD Industries is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
