          "text": "<p>The Systems Engineer, based in Somerset, NJ, is a multifaceted role requiring an in-depth understanding of BEUMER sortation products and applications. This position is responsible for analyzing customer requirements, developing innovative solutions, estimating costs, overseeing the development of layouts using 2D and 3D CAD and delivering customer proposals. Additionally, the Systems Engineer acting in the capacity of subject matter expert, collaborates with Sales, Engineering, and Software/Controls to ensure the successful design of solutions that address customer requirements. The Systems Engineer is also responsible for participating in and leading client meetings, calls and workshops serving in the capacity of a technical expert.</p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><p><strong>Subject Matter Expertise:</strong></p><ul><li>Become an expert in BEUMER's Logistics products, solutions and applications.</li><li>Lead and engage in initiatives that require expertise to address customer requirements through innovative solutions.</li><li>Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in logistic systems and supply chain management.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements Analysis and Solution Development:</strong></p><ul><li>Understand customer requirements and business objectives and recommend appropriate products and solutions to meet their needs.</li><li>Analyze customer requirements to identify system design needs.</li><li>Develop innovative solutions using 2D and 3D CAD.</li><li>Customize and configure products to meet customer-specific requirements, including developing prototypes, conducting feasibility studies, and performing testing and validation.</li></ul><p><strong>Collaboration:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Software/Controls departments to design and develop effective system solutions.</li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact (acting as a subject matter expert) for customers, providing pre-sales and post-sales consulting on technical topics.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Software, Controls, Project Management, and Operations to ensure successful project implementation and delivery.</li></ul><p><strong>Cost Estimation and Vendor Management:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and estimate cost associated with system design and solutions.</li><li>Coordinate in developing RFPs and manage vendor responses to RFPs.</li><li>Act as single point of contact to clarify technical scope for internal and external teams.</li></ul><p><strong>Technical Documentation:</strong></p><ul><li>Produce technical documents, including proposals, process flows, user manuals, and application notes, to support customers in the use and implementation of our products and solutions.</li></ul><p><strong>Process Development:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop tools and assist in processes development as needed.</li><li>Understand, follow and implement BEUMER processes per BGMS&#xa0;</li></ul><p><strong>Client Engagement:</strong></p><ul><li>Participate, lead and coordinate client meetings, workshops and calls as necessary.</li><li>Act as the subject matter expert providing technical support as and when required</li></ul><p><strong>Sales Support:</strong></p><ul><li>Coordinate with Sales, Systems Engineering, Operations and Finance to handover orders.</li><li>Support sales team members with techno-commercial expertise as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Compensation Range</strong>: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually&#xa0;<br>\nThe posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position.
