    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p>\n<p><b><u>Safety</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Help with the creation of risk assessments/PPE requirements.</li>\n <li>Manage all safety reporting, i.e., training records, accident reports, investigation reports.</li>\n <li>Organize regular Safety Audits for compliance to OHS and internal requirements.</li>\n <li>Work closely with managers, and all employees to help enforce safety policies.</li>\n <li><span>Ensure compliance with all relevant fire safety legislation and maintain pertaining documentation.</span></li>\n <li>Support root cause analysis, enter actions to 8D format, track actions and verify effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Participate in Safety Committee meetings.</li>\n <li>Organize the training in skilled operations.</li>\n <li>Prepare and present required trainings.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Health</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Organize Industrial Health studies as needed.</li>\n <li>Schedule annual audiometric testing.</li>\n <li>Communicate health risks to employees.</li>\n <li>Oversee the environmental program (together with EH&amp;S team).</li>\n <li>Verify compliance to local and federal regulations.</li>\n <li>Complete routine submissions to regulatory bodies for environmental reporting.</li>\n <li>Audit and report hazardous materials.</li>\n <li>Complete reports as necessary internally/externally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Environmental</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Oversee the environmental program (together with EH&amp;S team).</li>\n <li><span>Verify compliance to local, provincial and federal regulations.</span></li>\n <li>Complete routine submissions to regulatory bodies for environmental reporting.</li>\n <li>Audit and report hazardous materials.</li>\n <li>Complete reports as necessary internally/externally.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Quality</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in the verification of incoming materials.</li>\n <li>Explain, implement and monitor the applicable regulations governing the transportation of dangerous goods (TC).</li>\n <li>Maintenance and testing of product design reports under the Transport Canada (TDG)/UN TP 14850 Standard.</li>\n <li>Communicates and investigates any customer inquiries as they relate back to quality. Works with Operations team to find solutions to customer complaints focusing on permanent corrective action. &nbsp;Visits customers as needed.</li>\n <li>Maintain Salesforce entries as applicable.</li>\n <li>Interacts with production floor and management to determine root cause analysis for quality defects and develops resolutions to correct deficiencies.</li>\n <li>Leads and facilitates monthly Quality Management Review meetings.</li>\n <li>Verify continuous compliance to ISO 9001.</li>\n <li>Create, review, and update Quality documents as required.</li>\n <li>Prepare for and serve as management representative for external audits, customer surveys and customer site audits. Audits, summarizes and reviews with plant management team the plant quality system.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Implement Quality Control testing for product/process verification.</li>\n <li>Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b><u>Other Duties</u></b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and assist in the accomplishment of KPI’s.</li>\n <li>Ensure that all Management reviews are conducted as required at site.</li>\n <li>Maintain working area in a clean, orderly and safe condition.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Observe all safety rules and regulations.</li>\n <li>Attend all required meetings and trainings.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Perform all other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><b>Requirements:</b></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of quality, safety and environmental experience in a manufacturing operation.</li>\n <li>Prior experience in industrial manufacturing (preferred).</li>\n <li>Solid understanding and overall program management of ISO 9001, OHS, Transport Canada regulations.</li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Experience leading internal and external audits in safety and quality.</li>\n</ul>",
