    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div class=\"fr-view\"><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\">&nbsp;<link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.32.25/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The Mental Health Counselor provides individual and family counseling to children, adolescents, and/or adults in an integrated care setting.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><p>The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><ul><li>Works from a strengths-based perspective and empowers patients appropriately within their natural support systems</li><li>Serves all patients with compassion, many of whom have experienced past or present exposure to trauma, chronic medical conditions, poverty, and healthcare disparities&nbsp;</li><li>Provides a high level of customer service consistent with best practice standards in the mental health field</li><li>Maintains confidentiality</li><li>Maintains required records&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</strong></p><ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field required</li><li>Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) required</li><li>Two (2) or more years of outpatient counseling/therapy experience, preferably in a community health setting, preferred</li><li>Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred</li><li>Knowledge of and experience with mandated reporting requirements, including identification and reporting of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of children, elderly individuals, and persons with disabilities</li></ul><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license or reliable transportation</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS</strong></p><ul><li>Proficient in the use of electronic health records</li><li>EPIC experience a plus<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>TRAVEL</strong></p><p>This position is located in Chapel Hill and requires occasional ability to travel to FCC site in Tyler.<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>20% of the time is spent making repetitive motions</li><li>50% of the time is spent sitting</li><li>10% walking, bending, standing, stooping, crouching or kneeling</li><li>20% of the time is spent using hands to type, write or use controls</li><li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions<strong>&nbsp;</strong></li></ul><p><strong>WORK ENVIRONMENT&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
