Relies on metrics that measure incoming and outgoing demands, along with experience and judgment to plan and accomplish department/organizational goals</li>\n <li>Responsible to promote safe work practices</li>\n <li>Must be able to work with Electric Boat operating systems</li>\n <li>Responsible for processing incoming material from vendor</li>\n <li>Responsible for developing and implementing short and long term inventory and material goals/plans</li>\n <li>Independent creativity and latitude is expected</li>\n <li>Promote and actively support EBQP Process Improvement System and attain facility departmental goals</li>\n <li>Must be able to work with the EBQP Process Improvement Team and define and eliminate waste to reduce the cost of material handling</li>\n <li>Must also be able to document the process and provide training to the team members</li>\n <li>Will manage rejection and department work orders</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>This position is located at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. </strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li>\n <li>A minimum of 4 years of supply chain experience, including the technical processes of warehousing and buffer storage</li>\n <li>A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience </li>\n <li>Must be able to attain hazmat transportation qualifications</li>\n <li>Must be available to work all shifts (1st, 2nd & 3rd)</li>\n <li>Must understand safe operating procedures for various forklifts as well as understand and be able to work with EB Inventory Tracking system</li>\n <li>Must be very well versed in warehousing concepts and business systems</li>\n <li>Must have strong interpersonal skills interfacing with hourly, salary, and upper management</li>\n <li>Must be able to manage functions that include warehouse and material distribution areas</li>\n <li>Must be flexible and able to work in all warehouse areas</li>\n <li>Ability to understand and be able to learn Microsoft Excel, Word, Power-Point</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the department of defense</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>EQP/MRP Experience </li>\n <li>Associates degree or higher in Business or Supply Chain Management</li>\n <li>4 plus years of leadership experience </li>\n <li>Navy/Military</li>\n <li>Shipyard Experience </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Detail oriented and organized</li>\n <li>Strong MRPii and other warehouse business systems </li>\n <li>Organizational skills, interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment</li>\n <li>Strong commitment toward safety</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Qualifications</h2>Climbing, Light Lifting, Pushing, Reaching, Stooping\n<h2>Environmental Attributes</h2>Dry, Inside, Noise, Outside",
