    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p>Delivery Driver - $500.00 Sign on Bonus at the completion of 6 months!<br><br>Department: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Distribution<br>Reports To:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Distribution Manager<br>Status:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Non-Exempt<br><br>Description: Delivers and picks up merchandise to multiple customers on a daily basis by safely operating a delivery truck and handling our merchandise.<br><br>Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.<br>Operates a delivery truck to ensure safe delivery of merchandise and parts to a variety of customers on a daily basis.*<br>Loads and unloads merchandise and automobile parts onto truck, responsible for proper securing during transit and ensures all items are handled properly and delivered undamaged.*<br>Inspects all merchandise and ensures it matches with the delivery ticket description including correct side, STK#&rsquo;s, and options; demonstrates an understanding of the Hollander parts numbering system.*<br>Demonstrates a complete understanding of the Automotive Recyclers Association (ARA) damage codes as it relates to inspecting merchandise and maintaining quality control.*<br>Inspects delivery vehicle in accordance with the Pre-trip Checklist and reports any discrepancies to management.*<br>Provides excellent customer service by serving as the face of the company to customers; hands out marketing material to each customer highlighting the services the company offers that they may be interested in.*<br>Tags or labels all merchandise for return, purchase or repair as to their origin with a reason for return or service needed with proper paperwork attached.*<br>Completes all necessary paperwork as outlined in the operating procedures for the position.*<br>Follows all company safety policies and procedures while operating equipment without causing damage or harm to people, property or equipment.*<br>Utilizes handheld tablet for parts deliveries and turn-by-turn directions while following DMV laws.*<br>May be required to operate certain types of forklifts or heavy machinery with appropriate license.*<br><br>Qualifications:<br>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.<br><br>Education/Experience:<br>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience or knowledge in the automotive industry. For insurance purposes you must be 21 years of age or older.<br><br>Certificates and Licenses:<br>Valid driver&rsquo;s license. Forklift certification.
