Please see the description of benefits included with this job posting for additional information.</span></i></p><p>Perform a variety of routine teller duties to include processing transactions, identifying basic potential financial needs and based on that identification, making referrals to the platform area as appropriate.</p><p><span style=\"font-family: &quot;&quot;;\"><strong>Major Responsibilities:</strong></span></p><p>Following established policies and procedures, performs routine teller duties:</p><ul><li>Process deposits to customer accounts; includes verification of cash, verification of endorsements, and providing customers with receipts.</li><li>Cash checks for customers and non-customers</li><li>Process and properly record the sale of monetary instruments (i.e., official bank checks)</li><li>Process foreign currency purchases and sales</li><li>Redeem savings bonds</li><li>Properly file all government-mandated reports related to large cash transactions and the sale of all monetary instruments</li><li>Process various types of loan payments and credit card cash advances</li><li>Assist with providing customers with access to safe deposit area, as applicable based on branch configuration.</li><li>Actively engages in the sales process by identifying potential financial needs for customers and non-customers alike and makes appropriate referrals of such leads to the platform staff for follow-up</li><li>Other duties as required</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: &quot;&quot;;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong>:</span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Incumbent should be able to adhere to defined policies and procedures but if/when written policy is unclear or there is any uncertainty, the incumbent seeks guidance from their immediate supervisor.&nbsp;</li><li>Incumbent must be outgoing, have good customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Individual should be a self-starter and be technically literate.</li><li>The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations</li><li>High school or equivalent required.&nbsp;</li><li>1-2 years teller experience or cash handling experience</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: &quot;&quot;;\"><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></span></p><ul><li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time without a break.</li><li>Incumbent must be able to transport items weighing 15 pounds or more.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p>",
