          "text": "<p>The <strong>SR. ELECTRICAL CONTROLS ENGINEER</strong>&#xa0;is an integral person in helping our customer’s vision for an automated storage solution from Movu US come to life. The core objective is to support Sales and Engineering during the pre-sale phase by answering questions on system integration. And to support project execution by designing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting product implementation and system integration.</p><p>Solutions: Fully automated storage solutions including pallet shuttles (atlas), tote shuttles (eScala), as well as automated mobile robots (iFollow) and ancillary systems such as conveyors and lifts.</p><p>Customers: End users are located throughout the United States and Canada. We work with many of the leading integrators as our Sales partners.</p><p>Typical project size: 1-30M <strong>&#xa0;</strong></p><p>As our SENIOR ELECTRICAL CONTROLS ENGINEER, you…</p><ul><li>support Sales, Engineering, Project Management, and Commissioning by sharing your expertise of the final installation and system integration<em> </em></li><li>support junior controls engineers as necessary</li><li>support the creation of the functional description specifications regarding the installation of electrical equipment and the commissioning of controls<em> </em></li></ul><ul><li>Develop Programmable Logical Control (PLC) programs</li><li>draft documentation such as SOPs and contribute to creating manual<strong>&#xa0;</strong></li><li>develop and design electrical cabinets<em> </em></li><li>create schematics and network diagrams<em> </em></li><li>design controls algorithms and safety systems<em> </em></li><li>program device communication of pallet conveyance and pallet inspection equipment<em> </em></li><li>test and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems and processes<em> </em></li><li>work closely with R&amp;D<em> </em></li><li>source external vendors for materials<em> </em></li><li>lead engineering and automation teams through concept planning, configuration, and development<em> </em></li><li>contribute to the creation of risk assessment documents that identify hazards in a system<em> </em></li><li>optimize the system by offering simulation support<em> </em></li><li>support the Sales Engineering team with product testing<em> </em></li><li>contribute to the mechanical system layout drawings regarding all electrical and controls specifications including cable routing<em> </em></li><li>contribute to the development of test plans alongside the Commissioning Team<em> </em></li><li>make Full Load Amps calculations<em> </em></li><li>ensure UL listed components are selected and cabinet is assembled compliant to such standards<em> </em></li><li>be present on-site at First Power Up to make sure everything is operational after rack installation and to make sure everything is functional before our robots are commissioned <em>&#xa0;</em></li><li>be present on-site when commissioning is in final stages to prepare the Movu system for handover to the end-customer<em> </em></li><li>perform Site Acceptance Testing <em>&#xa0;</em></li></ul><p>&#xa0;</p>",

          "text": "<p><strong>This lets us know you’re up for the job</strong></p><ul><li><strong>8+ years of experience</strong> with controls and electrical engineering of custom automation</li><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Robotics, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering</li><li><strong>PLC and HMI Programming experience</strong> (Beckhoff, Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell)</li><li>Experience with automation controls, monitoring systems, safety area scanners and safety controllers</li><li>Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system</li><li>Comfortable using 2D (required) and 3D (nice to have) CAD software for design of electrical diagrams and schematics</li><li>Experience with ePlan or comparable software would be the cherry on top</li><li>Willing and able to travel to customer sites and if remote, to our office an average of up to 50%, usually no longer than 2 weeks at a time; throughout the United States and occasionally to Canada</li><li>If remote, occasional travel to our Romeoville, IL office (average 3 days at a time; approx. 4-6 times per year besides onboarding &amp; training)</li><li>For onboarding and training, if remote, travel for training and onboarding to our Romeoville, IL office and regardless of your location, to our headquarters in Belgium (usually no more than 2 weeks at a time)</li><li>We work closely with our European colleagues.
