Our team is committed to safety, integrity, and operational excellence.</p><h2>Position Summary</h2><p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused Inspector to support inbound material operations at our Davenport, IA facility. This role involves inspecting, grading, and directing incoming scrap metal while maintaining strong customer relationships.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Direct and inspect inbound scrap metal to the facility</li><li>Identify and grade inbound scrap materials</li><li>Reject unacceptable items and ensure quality standards are met</li><li>Direct customers in traffic flow and proper unloading areas</li><li>Complete inspection tickets and provide to customers</li><li>Obtain customer signatures on appropriate material certificates</li><li>Maintain good working relationships with customers</li><li>Operate yard equipment as needed</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>High school diploma or GED preferred but not required</li><li>Prior experience in metals preferred</li><li>Ability to interact with customers and vendors in a friendly and courteous manner</li><li>Strong attention to safety and detail</li></ul><h2>Safety</h2><p>Must wear all necessary PPE while working or while in the yard.
