    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Tyto Athene is searching for a <strong>Web Developer and Designer </strong>to support a Government Program Management Office in Suitland, MD. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work is located 100% on government site.</li>\n <li>Support the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with creation and maintenance of websites and applications for various business management, inventory management, change management, and program tracking systems. </li>\n <li>Responsible for management of web development, design, and applications. Implement various database entry and retrieval functions for multiple users.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement well designed, testable, back-end programming to provide users with functional, data-visualization front-end interfaces. </li>\n <li>Continuously review existing applications alignment with stakeholder requirements and performance, optimization, resilience, and security risks. Identify problem areas and develop solutions.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and optimize web pages and applications for security and responsiveness via testing, evaluation, and coordination with stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Remain current with emerging technologies by using industry best practices and applying innovative designs with websites and applications. </li>\n <li>Assist with development, review, and preparation of briefing materials, reports, and other project documentation. Coordinate responses to periodic reports.</li>\n <li>Provide input to department strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field.</li>\n <li>Three (3) or more years of relevant web development and application experience.</li>\n <li>Active IAT Level II certification (e.g. CompTIA Security+ or other eligible certifications).</li>\n <li>Extensive knowledge of MS SharePoint, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, REST, and JSON.</li>\n <li>Extensive knowledge of the MS Power Platform (Power Automate & Power Apps/Power Fx) with working knowledge and/or familiarity with Power BI.</li>\n <li>Experience in protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing cybersecurity measures.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication and customer service skills (written and oral); able to effectively interact with customers, partners, and associates through multiple means.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Desired:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity with DOD and/or U.S. Navy organizations and functional missions. </li>\n <li>At least one other Web Developer professional certification or certificate, such as CWP, CSDP, MCAD, MCPD, MCSA Web Applications, MCSD SharePoint Applications, MCSE SharePoint, etc.</li>\n <li>Understanding of Inventory Management and/or Financial Management software.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Clearance: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>TS/SCI</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Location: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Suitland, MD</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><10%</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About Tyto Athene</h2>\n<p><strong>Compensation:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Compensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $130,000-$150,000.
