    "description": "<p><strong><u><em>Structural Designer I</em></u></strong></p>\n\n<p>HFA is seeking a motivated <strong>Structural Designer (Drafter)</strong>&nbsp;or <strong>EIT&nbsp;</strong>to join our multidisciplinary architecture and engineering team. This role offers hands-on experience developing structural construction documents for a variety of projects while collaborating closely with in-house architects and engineers. You&rsquo;ll work in <strong>Revit </strong>and grow your knowledge of structural codes and software, and contribute to impactful, well-coordinated designs in a supportive, team-driven environment. Those with more experience attend coordination and scheduling meetings, assist in staffing decisions, and may direct a small team for project processes.&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p>At <strong>HFA</strong>, we put people first. We offer competitive pay, flexible schedules, strong benefits (including <strong>401(k) match and ESOP</strong>), and ongoing professional development to help you grow your career.&nbsp;</p>\n\n<p><strong>Job Requirements include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>There are two tracks for designer: Structural CAD/BIM Designer or Engineer in Training.</li>\n\t<li>Designer will assist Structural Engineer and/or Structural Design Team to design, detail, and draft Structural construction documents in support of clients&#39; building program.</li>\n\t<li>Designer will utilize education and experience to independently tackle challenges as they arise on projects, with the support and/or direction of the Structural Engineer or Structural Design Team lead.</li>\n\t<li>Designer may perform rudimentary calculations using applicable codes and standards such as IBC, ACI, AWS, AISI, etc. under the direct supervision of the project Structural Engineer.</li>\n\t<li>There will be no direct contact with the client.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Job Duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Designer will use and develop their skills in AutoCAD and REVIT Structure to develop construction documents.</li>\n\t<li>Designer will gain a working knowledge with structural codes and structural software such as RAM Structural system, Enercalc, RAM Element and RAM Concept,</li>\n\t<li>Designer may travel to project sites as required by project requirements to obtain existing conditions or assist project engineer.</li>\n\t<li>Designer will work in a collaborative environment with Architects and other Engineers to develop and coordinate construction documents.</li>\n\t<li>Designer shall perform quality control of their own work prior to giving to Structural Engineer for final review.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>About HFA</strong><br />\nHFA is a multidisciplinary architectural, engineering, and interior design firm who thrives in a people first driven environment.
