Our commitment to providing exceptional care, despite any challenges, goes beyond just a job; it’s a calling that drives us forward every day.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Overview</b></p><p></p><p>The Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a clinic pharmacy.  The PIC is listed on the Board of Pharmacy’s website and associated with the pharmacy license for the location to which they are assigned. The Pharmacist-in-Charge is responsible for supervising pharmacy technicians and coordinating with the Pharmacist. The PIC serves as a Pharmacist and performs professional and clinical duties in the dispensing of medications to patients and clinics.</p><p></p><p><b>Minimum Requirements</b></p><ul><li><p>Graduate of an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a California pharmacist license required or</p></li><li><p>be certified by the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC), issued by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.</p></li><li><p>Must possess a valid and active license in the State of California</p></li><li><p>High Volume Retail Pharmacy experience preferred.</p></li><li><p>Minimum of one (1) year of experience directing pharmacy workflows, two (2) years of related experience strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>Minimum one (1) year of experience directing pharmacy regulatory/compliance activities to include, including Experience working with Regulatory agencies, to include but not limited to DEA, SBOP, CMS, FDA. Experience with Compliance audits and remediation, Experience resolving compliance/regulatory discrepancies.</p></li><li><p>Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.</p></li><li><p>A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Compensation</b></p><p></p>$77.23 - $96.54 hourly<p></p><p><b><span>Compensation Disclaimer</span></b></p><p></p><p><span>Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
