No</p><p>Manager of Process? &nbsp;Yes, flight QA and QC Process</p><p><strong>Star Qualities:</strong></p><p>Detail oriented. &nbsp; Demonstrate confidence &amp; professionalism. &nbsp;Energetic and self-motivated. &nbsp;Able to work independently to complete all necessary actions.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and maintain software tools for supporting aerial image acquisition activities</li><li>Develop and maintain software tools for supporting GIS analysis</li><li>Maintain servers and services that support Vexcels&rsquo;s Aerial Operations</li><li>Prepare performance reports for internal consumption</li><li>Follow design documentation and requirements to implement solutions using best coding practices for maintainability and greatest flexibility for future enhancements</li><li>Work directly with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, UX designers, Directors, other developers, QA and Automation engineers to complete tasks quickly and correctly</li><li>Write unit tests to verify code quality and prevent regressions</li><li>Estimate implementation times based on designs and requirements</li><li>Suggest product improvements</li><li>Improve overall efficiency and performance of application</li><li>Read through defect descriptions to find and correct defects</li><li>Participate in designing, estimating, coding, testing, debugging, configuring, and documenting software</li><li>Participate in code reviews</li><li>Actively participate in team communication (via JIRA, Slack, email, etc)</li><li>Move, comment on, and be proactive about JIRA cards and the JIRA board</li><li>Identify, measure, and resolve performance issues in the code and product</li><li>Test and write software programs according to specifications and documentation</li><li>Participates in planning meetings, retrospectives, daily stand ups, and other meetings as part of the software development process</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Certification</p><ul><li>Able to work in the United States</li><li>Any relevant certificates or professional organization associations</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Experience</p><ul><li>3-5 years of relevant experience in the aerial mapping domain is recommended</li><li>3-5 years of experience or similar ability in software development</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;Preferred Skills</p><ul><li>Fluent in C# and python</li><li>Experience in working with databases including SQL and NOSQL servers</li><li>Experience in working with GIS software packages</li><li>Understand concepts and able to deploy/maintain cloud services on AWS</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication (written &amp; verbal) skills</li><li>Strong time management skills &amp; ability to multi-task</li><li>Strong analytical &amp; problem-solving skills</li><li>Working knowledge of software development tools and agile processes</li><li>Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos</li><li>Good verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Must be coachable and collaborative</li><li>Knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g. smoke, regressions, component, integrations, etc.)</li><li>Must be able to clearly define and solve problems</li><li>Familiarity with continuous integration concepts and processes</li><li>Ability to create simple and well-designed solutions to complex software problems</li><li>Experience OSM, web mapping stack is useful but not required</li></ul><p><strong>Location:</strong> Remote</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Vexcel offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, retirement (401k), with a very generous company contribution.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Vexcel has several offices and more than 400 employees across the globe.
