The Dispensing Nurse II-RN ensures the accurate administration, tracking, and safeguarding of controlled medications while providing high-quality nursing care within scope of practice.</p>\n\n<p>Schedule</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>JHC Clinic: 5:30 AM &ndash; 2:00 PM</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Mobile Medication Unit (MMU): 5:30 AM &ndash; 4:00 PM</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Saturdays (JHC Clinic): 5:30 AM &ndash; 10:30 AM</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Schedule includes rotating assignment between clinic and MMU based on operational needs</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Essential Functions</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Administer Methadone, Buprenorphine/Naloxone, or Buprenorphine monotherapy as ordered by the Medical Director and providers</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintain accurate accounting of all medication received from suppliers and dispensed to patients</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ensure safekeeping and regulatory compliance of all controlled substances in accordance with DEA, FDA, State Board of Pharmacy, and JHC standards</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Conduct breath alcohol testing and urine specimen collection/processing with accurate documentation of results</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Perform nursing-level care within scope of practice, including vital signs, physical assessments, wound care, and patient education</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Assess and document patient conditions and promptly report changes to providers</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Enter prescriptions, medications, patient encounters, and inter-agency communications into the electronic health record (EHR) accurately and in a timely manner</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Provide patient education on medication use, effects, and treatment expectations</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Maintain required statistical and clinical records</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Sterilize and prepare medical equipment and supplies following infection control procedures</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Follow all JHC policies, HIPAA regulations, safety standards, and occupational exposure protocols</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Perform other duties as assigned</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Requirements</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Graduate of an accredited school of nursing</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Washington</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Minimum of three (3) years of clinic experience</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Valid Washington State Driver&rsquo;s License</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to complete employer-provided training upon hire)</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ability to pass criminal background check and meet vaccination requirements</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ability to travel locally and regionally as assigned</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities</p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Experience in substance use disorder treatment and/or primary care preferred</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Strong understanding of addiction medicine, mental health, and primary care practices</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Knowledge of substance use disorders and their impact on individuals, families, and communities</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Phlebotomy skills and experience with urine specimen collection and observation</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Proficiency with electronic medical records (Epic and/or Methasoft preferred)</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Strong knowledge of federal and state confidentiality laws, including 42 CFR Part 2</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Understanding of healthcare regulations, clinical documentation standards, and compliance requirements</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Ability to work independently with strong initiative and sound clinical judgment</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Effective time management, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities</p>\n\t</li>\n\t<li>\n\t<p>Cultural competency and ability to work in a cross-cultural, trauma-informed care environment</p>\n\t</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Jamestown Healing Clinic is committed to providing equitable, compassionate, and high-quality care to the communities we serve.
