If so, iLOQ is now looking for a digitally minded Technical Manager to join our team.
What you'll do
As a Technical Manager, you will play a key role in iLOQ’s rapid expansion across North America. Our disruptive technology is generating high demand, and you will be responsible for supporting our customers and sales force across multiple industry verticals, managing our complete portfolio of sustainable locking and access management systems, electromechanical locks, cylinders, and digital locking solutions.
You will also serve as a Project Manager, overseeing the integration of the iLOQ application with various software platforms to ensure market-ready implementation while adhering to project timelines.
This is a remote position, reporting to the Technical and Project Group Manager, with up to 15-20% annual travel expected.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide product and software training for iLOQ’s U.S. and Canadian sales teams, onboard channel partners, and end-users/customers.
Continuously develop and update training materials (content, documentation, processes, etc.) and ensure successful implementation through regular follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage and coordinate information sharing with iLOQ Technical Managers in other regions.
Support product integration with end-user databases using APIs.
Conduct market research to prioritize necessary software integrations in the multifamily housing, residential, and commercial sectors to ensure a smooth market entry.
Serve as the main point of contact for IT-related matters, both internally and externally.
Provide technical sales support, including quotations, contract and RFP management, and handling complex technical inquiries.
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Services.
Support channel partners, drive customer satisfaction, and help improve the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor products, emerging technologies, and new product developments.
Uphold iLOQ’s core values and commitment to innovation
What you'll bring
Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience, with at least 3 years in a technical training role within a similar product sector (EAC, AI, door entry, locks, access control, smart locks, etc.).
Technical degree preferred but not required.
Strong project management skills with experience working across divisions and internationally, including with outsourced integration engineering firms.
Robust understanding of modern mobile technologies, digitalization trends, and electromechanical digital solutions.
Extensive IT expertise, especially in APIs.
Preferred experience in product management, R&D, or sales.
Multichannel sales experience serving diverse customer and industry types is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written).
A structured mindset with strong attention to detail.
A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and global offices.
Analytical skills with an affinity for complex problem-solving and time management.
Self-sufficient, organized, and pragmatic—you take initiative and get things done
What you'll get
We offer you a workplace within a collaborative and forward-thinking company culture. You will work in an dynamic environment where you will have challenging tasks and gain responsibility, and diverse opportunities to develop yourself and your professional skills. You will have a genuine opportunity to make a real difference in a fast-growing international company and influence the work environment of the entire company. We will take care of you by providing excellent onboarding experience with friendly, helpful, and passionate colleagues. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive compensation with excellent healthcare benefits and a 401(k) plan, the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable products and opportunities for personal and professional growth in an international company with deep Scandinavian roots and values.
