We are searching for an experienced AutoCAD Civil 3D drafter/designer who seeks opportunities to advance their career through collaboration and company-sponsored training. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, team-focused, and humble. Work would include providing AutoCAD Civil 3D support for solid waste and environmental projects conducted for private and municipal clients. We are seeking a professional skilled in drafting for horizontal and vertical construction, adept at generating plan and profile views, cross-sections, as well as executing intricate grading and cut/fill balancing. Collaborating closely with our engineers, you will incorporate mark-ups, prepare figures, and develop permit and construction documentation. You will work with a team supporting you to independently complete tasks and projects. The position will report to either the Tampa, Coconut Creek, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Mobile (AL) or Atlanta (GA) office, but a hybrid schedule may be arranged for any office in the southeast based on candidate experience level.</em></p>\n<h2>How you can make an impact</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><em>Perform preparation of sheet sets, designing, drafting, detailing, and graphics layout with limited supervision</em></li>\n <li><em>Prepare site plan layouts from existing maps, incorporate corrections to existing drawings, evaluate existing conditions surveys, etc.</em></li>\n <li><em>Prepare permit and construction level documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D</em></li>\n <li><em>Perform volume calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D</em></li>\n <li><em>Ability to create design surfaces, manage topographical survey surfaces, and integrate design surfaces into existing conditions</em></li>\n <li><em>Apply and follow appropriate AutoCAD standards and best practices</em></li>\n <li><em>Support all aspects of drafting or AutoCAD under the supervision of the lead professional</em></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><em>Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting and design required. Experience in civil and site grading is required.</em></li>\n <li><em>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required</em></li>\n <li><em>Preference for candidates who have engineering consulting firm experience</em></li>\n <li><em>Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required</em></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $29.00 - USD $36.00 /Hr.\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>Please note that our pay ranges are determined by several factors, including relevant experience, internal pay equity, and location.
