As a member of the athletic department, the<br />\nassistant coach, alongside the head coach, coordinates and conducts all aspects of the field hockey program,<br />\nincluding but not limited to practices, competitions, and the monitoring of academic progress of student-athletes.<br />\nQualified applicants will enhance the School&rsquo;s commitment to diversity and inclusivity and understand and will be<br />\ncommitted to the School&rsquo;s Quaker values and mission.</p>\n\n<p><br />\n<strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br />\n● Responsible for coaching and directing the Middle School and Varsity field hockey program, including but<br />\nnot limited to organizing and supervising practices and competitions.<br />\n● Maintain a variety of records (e.g. game/student-athlete statistics, insurance, signed permission forms,<br />\nemergency information, schedules, equipment inventories, etc.) for the purpose of complying with school<br />\nand Friends Schools League athletic conference requirements.<br />\n● Report scores and post game results and highlights to FCS website.<br />\n● Work with the Varsity coaches to promote the field hockey program through a variety of activities (e.g.<br />\nconducts off-season clinics, information on skills camps, etc.) for the purpose of increasing interest and<br />\nparticipation.<br />\n● Commitment to and monitoring of student-athlete academic progress and academic advisement.<br />\n● Provide leadership and general team management in the areas of practice, skills, and character<br />\ndevelopment.<br />\n● Additional duties as assigned by the Varsity Coach and the Director of Athletics and Wellness.</p>\n",
