    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<div><p><strong>Nemours is seeking an Accountant to join our team in Jacksonville, FL.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>This position is responsible for Nemours’ fixed asset accounting functions, including Work in Progress (WIP) projects.</p><p>The nature of the healthcare industry is such that capital assets are usually the single largest investment of a healthcare provider.<span>&nbsp; </span>Capital assets are comprised of everything from land and land improvements, buildings and building improvements, leasehold improvements, fixed equipment, furniture and fixtures, major moveable equipment, vehicles, software, and other equipment.<span>&nbsp; </span>As Nemours continues to expand, work in progress (WIP) is becoming increasingly dynamic and vast. Given that capital is such a large investment, the organization must ensure that it has an accurate record of all its assets and WIP.</p><p>The position serves as a resource to the Lead Accountants regarding proper classification of capital transactions as assets or expenses.</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\">&nbsp;</p><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></span></p><ol style=\"padding-left: 24px;\"><li><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Maintain fixed assets - clearing account for all lines of business.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Ensure adherence to capitalization policies &amp; procedures; prepare all correcting journal entries related to capital and properly classify transactions as assets or expenses.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Prepare an accurate and timely close of the Fixed Assets (FA) Module in Harmony each month.&nbsp;</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Reconcile fixed assets and accumulated depreciation accounts, including Asset Clearing, for every operating division each month.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Assist with reconciliation of WIP accounts for every operating division each month.</span></span></p></li><li><p><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Assist with depreciation variance explanations.</span></span></p></li></ol><p style=\"margin-left: 0.5in;\"><span style=\"font-family: Aptos, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Provide information to and work directly with external auditors during interim and year-end audit.</span></span></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Bachelor’s Degree Required&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><div><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><div><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><div><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><div><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><div><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><div><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><div><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><div><p>&nbsp;</p></div><p><br>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p>",
